Mario Paint Composer is an adaptation to the original game with more instruments and versatility. Although the five note stack rule is still in play, the user can now add flats by holding down Ctrl or sharps by holding down Shift.
It's actually really fun, and I've made remakes of my favorite songs along with a few originals. If you'd like to see what this program is all about, go ahead and give some of my work a listen here ^_^
